8 Timespinner

It follows the Metroidvania playbook perfectly: unique enemies, different items, quests, and obstacles that will challenge the player on the best way to overcome them. It’s not long in duration, but it’s certainly a memorable title.

But don’t think it’s just a pretty game. Hollow Knight has sharp gameplay mechanics inspired by Dark Souls, a gigantic fascinating world full of secrets and crazy boss battles that will test all your patience and skill.

It has a rewarding sense of progression, an enviable arsenal, powerful combat and epically challenging boss battles. One thing is certain: you will die several times, but each failure forces the player to rethink his strategy and make his journey interesting.
