The player discovers a secret location never seen before in Nier Automata

Discovered by chance, the area discovered in Copied City has been hidden for the past five years

Five years after its release, Nier: Automata continues to surprise. While exploring the area of the copied city, the player found a secret room after interacting with the elements of the scenery.

This story would have started a few weeks ago when a user posted a story about allegedly breaking into a secret room in Copied City. The player’s case has now taken on new proportions after he posted pictures and a video depicting the mysterious scenario.

Watch the video:

“Someone accidentally posted a video on the Nier Automata subreddit showing that they discovered a secret room they found in a copycat city. So far no one has figured out how this door appeared. Literally one person on Earth managed to access this mysterious room and we are in shock.”

The player was the only one who had access to the secret room

As netizen Lance MacDonald reports, this player was literally the only one in the Nier community who had access to the area. He also adds that Nier Automata is not a game that allows the community to use mods that help confirm the accuracy of the story and visuals. Below is a tweet from McDonald’s explaining:

– Continues after commercial –

“It’s not yet possible to use mods like this on Nier Automata, in case anyone is wondering, this story can’t be fake.”

The mystery of the secret area will continue in the game until one of the players discovers how we can access the environment. In the meantime, we’re keeping an eye out for what new secrets the title might hold. Nier: Automata was released in 2017 for Playstation 4 and PC, later receiving a version for Xbox One in June 2018. The game is scheduled to arrive on Nintendo Switch: October 6, 2022.
