The title is from the same Lords of the Fallen franchise that started in 2014
Considered a game similar to First Souls, a genre with titles drinking from the source material created by FromSoftware, Lords of the Fallen didn’t have much to like in 2014. Now, on the opening night of Gamescom 2022, The new franchise title was announced with a cinematic trailer, but no gameplay.
The cinematics, which initially make us think it’s going to be something in MMORPG worlds like Lord of the Rings or something similar, show us what to expect in terms of settings and enemies.
According to the game’s Steam page, “The Lords of the Fallen presents an all-new epic RPG adventure set in a vast, interconnected world more than five times the size of the original game.”
The lamp carried by the hero, shown in the trailer, has the power to take him between the living and the dead. This transition between worlds brings something curious: “Die in the world of the living and rise… in the world of the dead.”
“After an age of tyranny, Adri, the demon god, has finally been defeated. But the gods… do not fall forever. Now, years later, Adiri’s resurrection is at hand. As one of the legendary dark cruisers, make your journey. The realms of the living and the dead in this expansive RPG , featuring colossal boss battles, fast-paced and challenging combat, exciting character encounters, and a deep, immersive narrative. Will your legend be light… or dark?” – Steam
