The Last of Us Part I has finished development

just announced Naughty Dog That The Last of Us Part I has reached the golden stage. That is, its development is completed and from now on the team will work only on refinement.

According to the studio, we will see the following improvements:

  • ,Enhanced visuals: Completely rebuilt, using Naughty Dog’s latest engine technology to enhance every visual detail of PlayStation 5.‎
  • ,Fast charging: Load times are almost instantaneous thanks to the PlayStation 5’s SSD.‎
  • ,tactile response: The DualSense wireless controller supports haptic feedback for each weapon and environmental effects such as rain sensing.
  • ,Adaptive triggers: Feel the dynamic resistance of the DualSense wireless controller for all iconic weapons, including Joel’s Revolver and Ellie’s Bow.‎
  • 3D audio: Naughty Dog’s newly updated audio engine uses Tempest 3D AudioTech to deliver richer soundscapes through compatible stereo headphones (analog or USB) or TV speakers.‎

The game will take up around 79GB of space on the PlayStation 5, surpassing The Last of Us Part II’s 72.9GB.
