Overwatch 2: See a graphical comparison between PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch

The game reaches 120 FPS in the performance mode of the PlayStation 5 version

THE Snowstorm released the game Overwatch 2 Recently on several platforms and channels ElAnalistaDeBits on YouTube Performed a comparison of graphics and game performance spanning versions PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

The channel usually posts launch comparison videos quickly, but due to the issues with the game’s debut, which we’ve already talked about here on Adrenaline, the first comparison was only published today.

Of the platforms analyzed in this test, the Nintendo Switch provides the lowest performance. Weighing in at 13.10GB on the Nintendo console, the game runs at 1600×900 pixels in docked mode and 1280 x 720 pixels in handheld mode, hitting 30 FPS in both situations.

On PlayStation 4, the game has a 23.04 GB install and offers users 1080p resolution and a higher frame rate of 60 FPS. There are three modes available on the PlayStation 5, a quality mode that brings 4K at 60 FPS, a balanced mode that brings 1440p at 60 FPS, and a performance mode that runs at 1260p at 120 FPS. The game size on PS5 is 23.60 GB.

Overwatch 2 launch is marked by long waits and error messages

The creator of the comparison notes that the Nintendo Switch suffers greatly in terms of graphics, but the art direction allows the game to work well even with a lower number of pixels than its competitors.

The frame rate on the Switch is 30 FPS in both modes, but that doesn’t mean the experience is limited because of it. The game’s load times are shorter than the PS5, but the Switch and PS4 also perform well in the test and are not far behind.

The difference between Balanced and Quality modes on the PS5, aside from the resolution, is the frame rate, which is easier to maintain at 60 FPS when running at 1440p.
