New Dead Space Remake Gameplay Trailer

Electronic Arts and Motive Release First Gameplay Trailer for Remake dead space. See below.

dead space, the sci-fi survival horror classic, is back with a complete overhaul to deliver a deeper, more immersive experience. The remake features stunning visual fidelity, immersive audio, and gameplay enhancements while staying true to the exciting vision of the original game.

Isaac Clarke is an ordinary engineer on a mission to repair a huge mining ship, the USG Ishimura. However, he soon sees that something is terribly wrong. The crew was killed and Isaac’s beloved partner Nicole was lost somewhere on the ship.

Now alone, armed only with his tools and engineering skills, Isaac struggles to solve the terrible mystery of what happened aboard the Ishimura in hopes of finding Nicole. With hostile creatures called necromorphs, Isaac survives in a battle not only against the horrors around him, but against the loss of his own sanity.

In addition, Dead Space features major gameplay improvements, including:

  • The Peeling System: Necromorphs, the monsters you’ve seen before, are rebuilt around a new peeling system that introduces layers of flesh, tendon, and bone that shatter, crack, and break in shocking new ways. And while strategy is key, players will also experience greater scope for creativity in how they use their weapons and unique abilities to battle these formidable foes.

  • Director of Intensity: The beautifully crafted and equally devastating world of Dead Space was easy for players to lose, but now you can truly feel the weight of Isaac’s every mysterious move. The new Intensity Director dynamically adjusts Isaac’s path, from the Necromorphs and how they choose to attack them, to environmental effects such as light, smoke, particles and sound. Isaac’s heart rate, breathing and effort are also adjusted based on his stress level to give players direct feedback on his mental, emotional and physical state.

  • Enhanced Engineering Fantasy: With no weapons or support, Isaac is forced to fend off necromorphs, use high-tech mining tools to strategically dismantle nightmarish creatures, solve puzzles on his thrilling journey, and transform Ishimura’s malfunctioning systems to your advantage. Players will now hear more from the beloved engineer, originally a silent hero, through new narrative enrichment voiced by Gunner Wright, the original voice of Isaac in Dead Space 2 (2011) and Dead Space 3 (2013).

  • Fully Interconnected Ishimura: From the start screen to the end credits, players will brave the terrifyingly narrow hallways and shadowy corridors of USG Ishimura without a single loading screen or camera cut to interrupt immersion. This massive mining ship has been rebuilt for the remake with new rooms, routes and obstacles, allowing for seamless exploration with new UI map controls and an improved locator.
