About Windmills

Windmills is a combat-oriented metroidvania. You will have to fight dangerous monsters and the only thing you can trust is your skills.

The combat system is based on grappling, parrying, parrying and parrying. As the story progresses, more mechanics are unlocked, giving you more combat and quest options.

Much of the mechanics are throwbacks. Timely parrying or parrying projectile spells gives the player extraordinary abilities in a short amount of time. For example, you can parry a lightning spell and charge your next attack with a lightning element.

Master your skills and kill the monsters that are destroying the kingdom. Challenge powerful and ruthless bosses that will test your skills. The story unfolds in a unique way based on how you progress through the game. Depending on your actions, areas and enemies may change, as the storyteller will remember things differently, making each story unique.

Explore the magical world, meet NPCs with unique quests, discover new skills that will change your experience, and help the last crimson cape to remember the events of many years ago. Rebuild the magical portals that connect different parts of the kingdom and see the story through to the end through the eyes of an unreliable narrator. What is more important, were the windmills giants or were the stories worth telling?
