Bioware has confirmed that it is developing a game for veterans and new players alike
Bioware posted on its official blog New details on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf development. The post from last Thursday (29) mainly focused on how the developer is creating the game world with veterans and new players in mind. According to Bioware, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf requires no knowledge of other titles in the franchise.
The goal is to appeal to both newcomers and veterans alike. THE The story of the game will be related to other games in the Dragon Age series and explores the great secrets of Theda’s world, but No prior knowledge required from new players. Screenwriter Sylvia Feketecut says the challenge is to create a balanced experience for all players.
Since Dragon Age: Inquisition came out about eight years ago, the time from Theda’s stories should be considered. “Dragon Age: Dreadwolf balances answering some very old questions for veterans while still being a game for new players, or those who only played Inquisition years ago,” said Sylvia.
Bioware has promised more information about the game by 2022
In June of this year, Bioware revealed the name Dragon Age: Dreadwolf as the official title of Dragon Age 4. At the time, the company also stated that the game would not be released until 2022, but promised new information.
Rumors point to a release in 2023 and, for now, the company continues to divulge the story with cryptic announcements. “We suspect you have questions and they will be answered in time. Even though the game won’t be out this year, we’re getting closer to the next adventure. Rest assured, Solas is putting his pieces on the board as we speak. That’s all we have for now, but we hope the official title has sparked some intrigue as we’ll be talking more about the game later this year!“.
As Bioware promised even more information by 2022, who knows, a full trailer for the game will be released later in the year, perhaps during The Game Awards, which is always the scene of big reveals.
