Update (09/02/2022) – GS
Following Ubisoft’s announcement of a full Assassin’s Creed Mirage reveal during next week’s Ubisoft Forward, new details about the game appear to have leaked online.
According to a leaker known as j0nathan, who has already revealed exact details about the franchise in the past, the game will take place in the city of Baghdad, which will be divided into 4 separate districts, each ruled by a different boss.
According to him, the game will really go back to the roots of the franchise, bringing in knife throwing, stealth and lots of NPCs.
Mirage should try to recreate the density of NPCs seen in Assassin’s Creed Unity, which takes place during the French Revolution and had many characters on screen at once. It should be noted that this also caused many performance issues in the game, which is why Ubisoft gave away the Dead Kings expansion for free as an apology.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage: Ubisoft confirms new game and promises more details soon
A few days before the new edition of the Ubisoft Forward event, the Internet has taken over the alleged leak of the next part of the Assassin’s Creed series. In an attempt to contain this leak, Ubisoft confirmed this Thursday (01) that the next game was actually titled Assassin’s Creed: Mirage.
Along with the first official art, the company promises to reveal more details about the game September 10 event. The artwork confirms previous rumors that the game will be set in 9th century Baghdad.
According to rumors from reliable sources, the game should have less RPG influence and focus more on the franchise’s roots.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage first leaked image revealing new details
It looks like the first artwork for Assassin’s Creed Mirage has been leaked. According to information, it would be obtained from the Ubisoft Store.
The photos are making the rounds on social media and may come from whistleblower @ScriptLeaksR6, who is known for his history of leaking Rainbow Six games.
Economy and market
If the images are indeed true, Ubisoft will release a DLC mission based on the Arabic story “Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves” for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which would make sense given its theme.
The images reinforce a leak that happened this week that brought the name and details of the new franchise game.
Several journalists, such as Jason Schreier of Bloomberg, have reported that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be less RPG-influenced and will be a big return to its roots.
The new chapter of the series should bring the character Basim from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Originally planned to be codenamed Rift, it would be an expansion to the latest game in the franchise, but Ubisoft decided to turn it into a full game.
It should happen in the Middle East and bring the city of Baghdad. Ubisoft is also said to be secretly working on a remake of Assassin’s Creed 1 using Mirage resources, which will supposedly be included in the Mirage Season Pass. The game should start between April and June 2023.
More information about Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be revealed next month during the Ubisoft Forward event, where the company will introduce some news about its franchise.
