About the game

In this award-winning cinematic action thriller, troubled writer Alan Wake begins a desperate search for his lost wife Alice. After his mysterious disappearance from the Pacific Northwest town of Bright Falls, he discovers pages of a horror story that was probably written by him but which he does not remember.

Wake is forced to question his sanity as the story of each page becomes a reality before his eyes: a hostile being in the form of a supernatural darkness conquers everyone he meets and turns them against him. He has no choice but to confront the forces of darkness, which are armed only with his lantern, revolver and what is left in his torn mind. His journey full of nightmares in search of answers to the thought-provoking mystery he faces will take him into the horrible depths of the night.

Alan Wake Remastered Offers a full experience with the main game and its two story extensions – The Signal and The Writer – now with stunning 4K graphics. The tense, episodic story is full of awesome thrillers, heartbreaking thrillers, and combat sections where more than a bullet is needed to defeat the darkness. The game scenes, its eccentric characters, and the majestic landscapes of the Pacific Northwest have been enhanced to provide an experience based equally on its visual impact and its disturbing atmosphere.
